Naam Jap Counter stores most functional data in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Storage) while you use the App. This page summarises typical retention; exact behaviour may depend on host actions (for example closing an event), your account status, and legal requirements.

Account & profile
Retained while your account exists (whether you signed up with email and password or linked your account via Google Sign-In through Firebase). If you request account deletion (see the Privacy policy), we delete or anonymise personal identifiers associated with your account where feasible, subject to legal holds and legitimate security needs.
Revoking the App’s access in your Google Account settings may limit future sign-ins but does not by itself erase historical data already stored in Firebase; use the contact in the Privacy policy for account-level deletion requests.
Events, participation, jap counts
Retained while the event record exists and your participation is part of that record. Hosts may close events; closed events may remain visible to participants for history depending on product behaviour. If an event is removed by a host or through administrative action, associated participation rows may be removed or anonymised.
Questionnaire answers
Typically retained for the lifetime of the associated event and host reporting needs. The App is designed to prevent duplicate submissions per user per event where implemented.
NGO directory content
Listing records are retained until updated or removed by authorised administrators through normal content operations.
Logs & diagnostics
Google may retain diagnostic, security, and operations data under Google’s own retention policies when you use Firebase and Google Play services. We do not control Google’s internal retention schedules.
Backups & disaster recovery
Residual copies may persist for a limited period in encrypted backups maintained by our infrastructure providers as part of standard cloud operations.
